What is BUTTER 2? A multi-day fine art fair showcasing the works of more than 50Black visual artists from across the country.

“AES Indiana BUTTER 2 presented by JPMorgan Chase is an equitable fine art fair experience that will showcase the works of more than 50 Black visual artists from across the country.

Back by popular demand, BUTTER invites guests to see and experience art in new, more equitable ways, pushing boundaries by elevating Black artists in the national conversation.

BUTTER employs an equitable and reparational process designed to benefit the artists—we do not require a fee for artists to participate nor do we take a commission on the sale of their work.

Open to the public, BUTTER 2 will take place in three new locations along the south side of The Stutz factory building in downtown Indianapolis, including all of 10th Street between Senate and Capitol Avenues.”

Says Jeffers, “I can’t believe there’s only been one iteration of the art fair and it’s talked about like it’s a mainstay in Indy already. It’s wild. The team is bigger this year. The everything is bigger this year. I’m nervous, per usual. I’m excited. I’m honored to care for these incredible artists and their work. Please come to the show. Tickets are $35 and students 18 and under are free. 🧡🧈”
