The story of the Walker Theatre’s “Coffee Pot”

The Coffee Pot was one of several  businesses which operated within the Walker Theater when it opened in 1927.
Thomas Ridley, local Indiana Avenue historian, describes the Coffee Pot as a community gathering spot where families met for Sunday dinners and clubs and other organizations held meetings.
